Dear Tenants,

 

Would you like to earn some extra money, stay active and enjoy a sense of accomplishment?  We currently have permanent, part-time Security positions available.  If you’re interested, please contact the guard shack, Monday through Friday, 6 AM to 9 PM.  We prefer hiring our tenants for the security positions, because security is important to you and the Park!

 

If you’re mailing in your rental payment, please remember your rent, security and sewer charge are due on the 1st of each month and are considered late if received on the 6th.  After receiving your rent bill in the mail, you can send an additional check for any balance due. 

 

In October, I have two large projects scheduled for the Park.  Beginning on October 6th, Sturgeon Electric will start cleaning the electric transformers.  This project will take approximately two (2) weeks to complete.  Your electricity will be turned off for approximately three (3) hours, while they clean the transformer that provides power to your mobile home.  At the beginning of October, we will provide a schedule that shows when your transformer will be cleaned.  On October 20th, 22nd and 24th, ACE Asphalt will crack fill and seal coat all the roads throughout the Park. In the middle of October, we will provide a schedule and map that shows the roads that will be crack filled and seal coated on each day.  I choose October for these projects, because the outside temperature should be cooling down and make it easier to complete both projects.

 

In November, Arapahoe Tree Service will start our tree trimming project.  They feel it will be cool enough for the trees to be trimmed, throughout the Park.  Please continue to provide me with your tree trimming requests.

 

Please accompany your guests at all times, especially the grandchildren.  We’ve had grandchildren that were not accompanied by an adult driving a golf cart, skate boarding in the drain ditches and/or parking areas and swimming at the small pool.  Tenants are responsible for the actions of their guests and the safety of others.

 

The security staff would like to remind you that Frontier Towing is not allowed on the premises.  The Frontier Towing driver caused damage to our property and refused to be responsible for the damage, therefore they are not allowed in the Park.  Please remember vendors and/or guests will not be allowed in the Park unless you notify the security staff in advance or we are able to contact you via telephone.  The security staff will attempt to contact you when your vendor and/or guest arrives, but will be forced to turn them away if you do not answer your telephone.  Please contact us as soon as you are aware that a vendor and/or guest will need entrance and the number of days they will be coming into the Park. Desert Pueblo’s speed limit is still 15 MPH throughout the Park.  Please remind your family, guests, and/or vendors.  As a safety reminder, please carry a flashlight while walking at night, so others can see you.
